The Boards of Directors of both the Lafayette County Historical Society and the Lafayette County Genealogy Society will meet to discuss the merge of the two societies and activities, publications, and future plans. The public is welcome to attend. Meeting is held in the lower level meeting room at the Museum 525 Main St. Darlington.

Author Beth Hanley (Bethlynn White), will discuss her new book: “Captured: The True Account of Sarah White and the Cheyenne.” There will be copies of her book available for purchase and she will sign books on request. Sarah White and her family have ties to Lafayette County, particularly the Belmont area.
