A fundraising event will be a concert by “Stump Fiddle Band” and “Just Jake” at the Darlington American Legion Hall on April 13. The doors will open at 6:30 and music begins at 7pm. There will also be a raffle and items for sale to raise money for the Caboose Restoration Fund.
Enjoy a meal at the concert in the park: Tunes at Twilight on July 27 featuring “Linda and the Zeroes” and the Darlington Children’s Theater Troupe. LCHGS volunteers will serve BBQ Beef sandwiches, chips, drinks and ice cream sundaes with other desserts with proceeds going to benefit the work of LCHGS.
Come to the Lafayette County Fair and see the Octagon Building where we will hold a Bake Sale to raise funds for the Caboose Restoration Project, from 11 to 5 pm on Friday and Saturday July 12 and 13.
On Friday and Saturday of the Lafayette County Fair LCHGS will hold a Bake Sale at the Octagon Building. Yummy treats will be available for sale as well as water, with proceeds to benefit the Caboose Restoration. Come see the beautifully restored Octagon Building!
LCHGS will provide dinner at the concert in Veterans Park. This fundraiser involves selling BBQ Beef sandwiches, chips drinks and ice cream sundaes. before, during, and at intermission of the concert. Come to help serve, or come to enjoy the food!
LCHGS Darlington Depot Museum will be the departure point for riding tours of historical sites around Darlington. The Depot will be open for visitors with shaved ice, face painting, Gelato Treats, and other items for sale.
