John Hicks Celebration of Life

John Hicks, April 9, 1930 – January 15, 2023, was a longtime member and often board member of both the Historical and Genealogy Societies in Lafayette County. He was known for his friendly nature and tireless dedication to the well being of both societies, in addition to his love of history and genealogy as worthwhile pursuits.
His funeral in January took place in the Madison area. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Historical and Genealogy Society Museum on June 24th at 1:00 pm. There will be a brief presentation and refreshments will be served. This event is open to the public free of charge. The Museum will also be open to enjoy.
